As many of you know, our Youth Organization is growing by leaps and bounds!  We are very excited about this and we are so grateful to have you all as a part of this. 

The Archdioceses of Newark requires all adults that work with youth go through a screening processThe Safety of our youth is of the utmost importance for the Assumption RoadRunners Youth Association. Therefore all volunteers must complete the following:

All volunteers, over 18 years of age, are required by the Archdiocese of Newark to complete the following before participating in any event or activity, or coaching a team sponsored by a parish:

1. Complete the Church of the Assumption Volunteer Application

2. Background Check (part of the Volunteer application)

3. Attend a Protecting God's Children Training Session (every two years) go to to register and choose Church of the Assumption, Emerson as your location

4. Coaches complete a First Aid & CPR Training Session by a credited certifying agency (American Red Cross, American Heart Association, etc)

5. Coaches need to read and sign the Code of Conduct Agreement.

6. Coaches complete training through the National Federation of High School Sports.

7. Read the Archdiocese of Newark Policies on Professional And Ministerial Conduct, and sign the Acknowledgement of Compliance (pg 23, in the volunteer packet)
